Surrendered School of Dance | Ballet Classes in Tacoma and Orting for Kids, Teens, and Adults
Surrendered School of Dance (SSD) is the official ballet school of Paradosi Christian Ballet. At SSD we provide a family friendly environment where dancers grow in both technique and faith.
We keep classical ballet technique combined with discipleship as the foundation of our school. Students develop artistry, skill, and character in a Christ-centered community.
If you are looking for age-appropriate ballet classes for your student, you will find a welcoming place at SSD for students ages 3 through adult. Our classes serve both beginning and experienced dancers alike providing safe training in a non-competitive studio environment.
Our main campus is conveniently located in Tacoma making it easy for families in Pierce County to participate in a dance community that values both artistic excellence and Christ-centered discipleship.
🗓 Ballet Classes in Tacoma and Orting | Open Enrollment!
Surrendered School of Dance offers open enrollment. New students are welcome to start anytime during the school .year.
- 2025 – 2026 School Year: September 8, 2025 – May 31, 2026
- 2026 Summer Classes: We will be offering 2, 3-week summer class sessions in July and August.
- These classes are maintenance classes for students who were enrolled in the 2025-2026 school year. These classes are designed to keep students active and to help them maintain what they learned over the summer break. As these are maintenance classes, new information will not be added.
- 2026 – 2027 School Year: September 7, 2026 – May 29, 2027
- Registration opens May 30, 2026

- Pre-ballet (ages 3-5)
- Primary Ballet (ages 5-7)
- Ballet Foundations (ages 8+)
- Beginner through Advanced Ballet Classes (Teacher Placement)
- Teen and Adult Dance Classes (ages 13 – Adult)
