We realize that everyones circumstances are different and we do not want resources to be a hinderance to a student being able to take dance classes with us.

With this in mind, we offer financial aid geared towards low-income families in the United States and as such we base our financial assistance upon income levels as set forth in the USDA’s Income Eligibility Guidelines for Free and Reduced School Meals.  We do not require proof of eligibility, only a self-declaration that your household qualifies for free, or reduced school meals, or cannot afford the requested tuition.  To see if your household qualifies for free or reduced school meals, please to to the following link and select the current school year to review income levels: https://www.fns.usda.gov/cn/income-eligibility-guidelines

PLEASE NOTE: Financial Aid will only be applied to the applicants Tuition and Registration Fees for dance classes with Surrendered School of Dance and will not be awarded in cash or applied towards any other expenses associated with taking dance classes such as but not limited to the students class uniform, transportation, etc.

SSD requires scholarship students to have excellent attendance and good behavior in the studio.

Our partners at Stelleworld believe that every dancer deserves the finest attire, and they are here to help make that dream a reality.  Through Stelle Dreams Dancewear Sponsorship Program they want to make sure that financial constraint’s don’t hold back a students talent.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be an aspiring ballet student in need of dancewear
  • Demonstrated dedication and passion for ballet
  • A reference or recommendation from a dance instructor or school (List your dance teacher, Surrendered School of Dance, and our studios address: 4020 S 56th St Ste 105, Tacoma, WA 98409 on your application)
